  25. I think I figured out a part of the problem myself.
  26. I learned that the filename is illegal if a digit appears directly after a '.'.
  27. So I changed the filename to this:
  28. D123.XXXXXX.YYYYYY.D071029.A1
  29.  
  30. And in fact, the home directory I arrive at when I login, is 'D123.', so the
  31. name I must use is:
  32. XXXXXX.YYYYYY.D071029.A1
  33.  
  34. With that knowledge I run 'put XXXXXX.YYYYYY.D071029.A1' in K95, but I still get
  35. this error:
  36. Invalid data set name "XXXXXX_YYYYYY_D071029.A1".  Use MVS Dsname conventions.

  38. Using this last method works with MS ftp.exe in Windows, but not with K95.
